Al-Ganzoury Meets Chairman of Emirati Dahra Agriculture Co.

Prime Minister, Dr. Kamal Al-Ganzoury, met Khadim Abdalla Al-Darei board chairman of Dahra Agriculture Company of Emirati investments and Hussien Saif Bahary board chairman of Arab Poultry Breeders Company of Saudi investments, in attendance of the Agriculture Minister.
The meeting discussed means attracting Arab investments to Egypt though Emirati and Saudi investment, and the Minister of Agriculture confirmed in press conference held after the meeting that Dahra Co. is the third largest Emirati company in Egypt and has investments in East Al-Ouynat and Toushki, and has large agricultural activities. The Ministers stated that wheat harvest season witnessed one of the highest rates and quality in the company.
Everything is provided for Egyptian employees in the company with Emirati investments owned by Jenan Company and has activities in East Al-Ouynat. The company is working to plant 100,000 new acres of wheat, and the Emirati companies were provided by 10,000 acres from the Reconstruction Authority for making cattle farm containing 100,000 buffalo heads. Dr. Al-Ganzoury approved the beginning of both projects by the coming week.
Al-Darei stated that the company invests 100,000 acres in Toushki for planting wheat and other crops but the projects has stopped since 1-1-2011 due to 25th January Revolution. He added that the company has 35,000 acres distributed in Al-Nuberyia and East Al-Ouynat, and the company has strategic relation with UAE government and considers the food security concept. The company will import 100 million tons of wheat at long run aiming to reach 5 million acres over 10 years.
